Site Usage

The purpose of this site includes but is not limited to providing users with: A Product List of Product of Canada and/or similar Food and Beverage products, Services provided by these companies, Insights provided by these companies and other information on their sites which are linked to the CANADIANCOOLFOODS.COM site.

AOCP is not affiliated with any other corporation or entity, with the exception of entities with whom AOCP is now or in the future bound to for services.

Disclaimer

Not all companies who have Product of Canada foods and beverages are represented on this site. Not all products on this site are Product of Canada. AOCP has the right to decide what Products, Services, Insights to include on this site.

In preparation of the AOCP site, every effort has been made to offer the most current, correct, and clearly expressed information possible. However, AOCP disclaims any responsibly for inadvertent errors in information which may occur, for example, typographical errors and accuracy of the information that may be contained on AOCP website.

AOCP shall not be responsible for verifying any claims that companies post on their product labels/packaging or website or verbally to AOCP. These claims include but are not limited to claims that the products are Product of Canada, Organic, Verified Non-GMO, Gluten-Free or other Special Attributes such as Grade or Colour for example.

Some but not necessarily all claims which appear on a Company’s package or website may be posted to the Product description.

The information posted to the CANADIANCOOLFOODS.COM site is posted exclusively at the discretion of AOCP. AOCP is not obligated in any way to justify its decisions. At AOCP’s discretion, if at any time AOCP is made aware that a product of a company is not Product of Canada or similar, or not in compliance with any of the claims posted to the website, their product description may be changed or may be removed from this website.

AOCP, at their own discretion, may list products which do not have the Product of Canada designation, but for reasons specific to these products, justify their listing in the opinion of AOCP.

There may be other Product of Canada product(s) which AOCP is not aware and are not included in the CANADIANCOOLFOODS.COM Products. AOCP encourages consumers, retailers and / or Companies to inform AOCP of these products by Email at CONTACT@CANADIANCOOLFOODS.COM.

AOCP has the right to approve or deny any suggestion or request received regarding inclusion in the Product List. AOCP will not make public or justify its reasoning to exclude submissions.

All rights are reserved by AOCP, including the right of reproduction, transmission in any form, or storage in a retrieval system, in whole or in part, in any form or by any means of website content.

Copyrights

With the exception of already copyrighted material, any information contained in the website Product page, or other pages, and any updates in the future, any other communication or material that is transmitted to AOCP in writing, by Email or Post or otherwise, including, recipes, substitute suggestions, data, questions, comments, ideas, etc., will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary and will become the property of AOCP upon submission and may be used by AOCP for any purpose. The submitter therefore transfers all right of use to AOCP of any non-copyrighted material.

Any submission which is copyrighted, must be clearly marked as copyrighted. AOCP is not responsible for copyright infringement, should material be submitted to AOCP for any reason, which is not clearly marked copyrighted, which in fact is, and is used by AOCP, who was unaware that they were required to receive permission from the Copyright holder.

Any copyrighted material which is clearly marked as copyright material, received by AOCP will not knowingly be uploaded to the site without first gaining permission in writing from the Copyright holders, unless it is in the content of a Blog Submission. The submitter however bears all responsibility of disclosure of the copy write material.

Insights and Blogs

The AOCP Insights submissions posted on the Insights page, “provides our Companies with an opportunity to contribute their stories, knowledge, commentary, criticism, insights and yes, opinions, on topics that are important to themselves, the Agri-Food industry in Canada and to our visitors.

We encourage visitors to get acquainted with our companies themselves, do their own research, gather information and form and act on their own informed opinions.”

The views, thoughts, opinions and information expressed in the Insights and Blogs are solely those of the Writers and not necessarily of AOCP.

Dispute

Any dispute arising from this website and its potential use will be determined according to the laws of the Province of Manitoba, Canada and shall be dealt with in accordance with the Arbitrations Act of Manitoba Canada.
